Service call to repair a garage door in our 24-unit condo building. The door opens and closes erratically (it closes and then goes back up, partially and completely, basically uncontrollably!). We have to put it in manual mode to operate. We called Pro-Fix Bélair, and they came a few hours later that same day. The technician, Patrice, and his partner, both top-notch professionals, identified the problem in two minutes (a bare and broken wire in the motor housing, possibly due to vibration over the past fifteen years). In short, a simple broken electrical wire that was making a intermittent connection due to the vibration when opening the door. A small, inexpensive repair, and most importantly, a well-diagnosed problem. 100% satisfaction across the board. Thank you to the whole team. IMPORTANT: Another garage door company, which I won't name, previously called out twice for service (January 2nd and 3rd), and their amateur and unqualified technicians diagnosed a very serious problem requiring the complete motor replacement. They quoted us $4,000.00.
